THE WWII DISNEY INSIGNIA NOTECARDS

Share :

Description

This wonderful collection of WII insignia images was created by artist Hank Porter while he worked at Walt Disney Productions. Walt Disney never charged for the war insignia and gave some 1200 of them away during the war from 1941 through 1945.

This collection features Victorville Army Airfield Insignia for the 3035th Army Air Force Base Unit Bombardment School, Flower from Bambi (1941) for the Company B 84th Chemical Battalion, an original Rockfish character for The Rock, Submarine Base in Pearl Harbor on Oahu, Hawaii, and the original character Phoebe the Female Seabee for the Seabees stationed at Port Hueneme, California now known as the Port Hueneme Naval Base.

Three (3) of each image make up this beautiful set of twelve (12) note cards that will bring a smile to the face of anyone who receives one in the mail from you.

All notecards are blank on the inside.
