CLAUDE COATS NOTECARDS

Share :

Description

In 1933, Claude Coats took a trip to Taos, New Mexico where he was inspired by the natural beauty of the southwestern landscapes. He created a series of watercolor paintings of everyday life in Taos at that time. The paintings reflect the style and spirit of his renowned work as a background artist and color stylist for many of the classic Walt Disney animated films including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), Pinocchio (1940), Fantasia (1940), Dumbo (1941), Cinderella (1950) and many others. Coats went onto become one of the original Imagineers who helped Walt Disney create Disneyland. He worked for The Walt Disney Company for 54 years before retiring.

These four (4) Taos, New Mexico, watercolors, three of each image, make up this set of twelve (12) note cards that will bring a smile to the face of anyone who receives one in the mail from you.

All notecards are blank on the inside.
